About the Role
As a System Engineer at Ascom, you’ll be at the forefront of implementing innovative technical solutions that make a real difference—especially in healthcare and long-term care environments. You’ll work directly with customers across the UK, delivering, installing, and commissioning systems that integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure.


What You’ll Do

  • Deliver professional services including requirements analysis, system design, installation, and handover
  • Implement and support technical solutions on-site, ensuring smooth integration with customer systems
  • Take ownership of smaller projects, from planning to execution
  • Provide hands-on training and support to end-users
  • Collaborate with customers to identify enhancements and improvements
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies through ongoing training

What We’re Looking For
✅ A technical qualification in electrical, electronic, telecoms, or IT (HNC/HND or equivalent)
✅ Proven experience in field service, installation, or commissioning
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
✅ Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
✅ Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
✅ CSCS card and DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

Bonus Points For
🌟 Experience with nurse call, DECT, or paging systems
🌟 Familiarity with IP-based technologies and network configuration
🌟 Knowledge of UK safety standards and healthcare regulations
🌟 Experience with Ascom platforms or similar systems
